It's a good time to be a roving post-apocalyptic carpenter. Bethesda's newest downloadable extra for sci-fi roleplaying game Fallout 4 is "Wasteland Workshop," which offers not only some cool new features to add to your settlements but the ability to capture and harness the local wildlife -- and yes, that means anything from a Deathclaw radioactive dinosaur to unquestionably the best part of Fallout 4, the cats.

Here's the blurb straight from Bethesda:

Fallout 4’s second add-on, Wasteland Workshop, will be available worldwide on Tuesday, April 12, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. With Wasteland Workshop, you can design and set cages to capture live creatures -- from raiders to Deathclaws. Tame them or have them face off in battle, even against your fellow settlers. The Wasteland Workshop also includes a suite of new design options for your settlements like nixie tube lighting, letter kits, taxidermy and more.

I was with you right up until you said "taxidermy." You can't... taxidermy the cats, right? That's only reserved for the less cuddly Commonwealth fauna?

You'll note this lets you capture presumably-human "wildlife" as well, which is also pretty ethically fraught if you ask me -- but pretty well within the established tone of the series. Maybe you can name one of the captives "Bloodbag" and live out your shiniest and most chrome war boy fantasies? Whatever, look, ATTACK CATS:
